The awards have been launched in Laois and Offaly.
Gardaí in the midlands are encouraging young people to come forward as nominees for Garda Youth Awards.
The Laois Offaly Divisional Youth Awards honour young people who have displayed outstanding behaviour and inspiring achievements.
Categories include the individual award, the groups award and the community safety award.
The closing date for nomination is the 29th of February at 5pm.
The official launched was held in the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise.
