A Midlands organisation is to recieve over 6,500 euro funding for youth services working with young LGBTI+ people.

The YWI Laois based in Portlaoise actively promote equality for all and challenge inequalities experienced by young people and their communities.

The LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy is a three-year scheme, its aim is to ensure all LGBTI+ young people are visible, valued and included.

Nationally, €167,335 has been awarded to 25 groups for 2019.
