Westmeath County Council is hoping to fast-track investment and employment in a new advanced technology building.
The local authority have signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the IDA to deliver an advanced planning permit for the facility in Mullingar Business & Technology Park.
This will begin the process of appointing a design team to develop the proposed planning application.
