A controversial plan to remove traffic and add pedestrianised areas in Dun Laoghaire in Dublin has got the backing of more than half of people.

54% are in favour of the Living Streets scheme, 35% say they don't support the project, while 10% would back it with certain changes.

More than 7,000 submissions were made as part of the public consultation on the project that will involve rerouting buses, changing traffic flows on the seafront and removing cars from certain streets.
