Aaron Connolly Ruled Out Of Luxembourg Qualifier

He becomes the latest player to become unavailable to Stephen Kenny.

The Republic of Ireland squad has been dealt an injury blow ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg.

The FAI has confirmed striker Aaron Connolly is out of tomorrow's game - and the friendly against Qatar - with an unspecified injury.

The Galway man was substituted when he cramped up after 65 minutes of the match in Serbia and he is now returning to his club.

Troy Parrott, Shane Long, James Collins, and Callum Robinson are the remaining strikers in the Irish squad.
