Ross Munnelly was player of immense popularity and technical abililty according the Midlands 103 commentator, Jack Nolan.

The Arles Kilcruise clubman announced his retirement from inter-county after 20 years, today.

Munnelly was the only active player from outside of Dublin with a Leinster medal this year, after he won the provincial title with Mick O'Dwyer in his first championship campaign in 2003.
