Colin Fortune is back with the midlanders ahead of the 2025 season.
Athlone Town have named Colin Fortune as the new manager of the women's senior team.
A former Town player, Fortune has most recently served as Head Coach at TUS Midlands, he had worked for the club as the senior men's team manager for the 2016/17 season.
He also served as a coach in the Athlone academy.
The ex captain of the Republic of Ireland Military Team at the World Military games takes over the defending league champions, with the prospect of champions league football to look forward to.
