The Laois manager is complimenting his players' efforts against Offaly.
It was "big plays" that cost Laois a shot at Dublin in the Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-finals, according the O'Moore County's manager Justin McNulty.
Offaly ran out convincing winners in their midlands derby in Portlaoise on Saturday evening.
The result came after Laois were reduced to 14 men after James Kelly was shown a straight red card in the first half.
McNulty's side battled to reach the break level but quick-fire goals in the early stages of the second period did for their hopes of progression in the Championship.
He says conceding red cards and back to back goals were a few mistakes too far for his team.
