The Athlone man has been playing in the backs in LA since last year.
Luke Carty’s club rugby season in the US has come to a sudden end after his team was thrown out of the playoffs.
The Athlone man, younger brother of Connacht’s Jack Carty, has been playing fly-half with the LA Giltinis since last year in Major League Rugby.
The franchise is one of two teams to have been disqualified from the upcoming playoffs, but the league hasn't specified the specific reason so far.
The LA squad also includes Matt Giteau, who has made over 100 appearances for Australia.
