Dessie Dolan departs his role as manager after winning the Division Three title this year.
Dessie Dolan is stepping down as Westmeath's Senior Football Manager after two years at the helm.
Dolan oversaw Westmeath's promotion to Division Two of the national league this year, after victory in the Division Three final against Down.
However, they lost their preliminary round Leinster Championship tie to Wicklow.
The former Lake County All Star also came close to claiming big scalps in the All Ireland series in both of his seasons in charge.
Westmeath missed out on beating Armagh and Tyrone last year by the smallest of margins, while they ran Derry and Galway close in this year's competition.
