The contest in Athlone Town Stadium looked to be heading for penalties until a late late goal.
Ireland suffered late heartbreak against England on day two of the 2024 SAFIB Under 15s Bob Docherty Cup in Athlone Town Stadium yesterday evening.
Sophia Burton put the English 1-0 up early on only for Ciara Milton to equalise for Ireland moments later.
The game remained at 1-1 until an injury time winner from Burton gave England victory.
Lara Dallaghan was named as Player of the Match for her performance in midfield.

Earlier Scotland came from behind to take the spoils in dramatic fashion against Northern Ireland with Iona Watt and Erin O'Brien netting a second half brace to cancel out Ruby Adair's first half effort.
It leaves for a crunch encounter Thursday morning as the tournament concludes.
England will face Scotland at 10am while the Republic of Ireland will face Northern Ireland at 12 noon.
Ireland need to win their game and for a Scottish victory in the first game to win the competition outright.
