The Roscommon man has been in great form for Connacht this season .
Former Buccaneer Darragh Murray has recived his first Ireland call-up ahead of Ireland's crunch match with France in the Six Nations this weekend.
The 23-year-old lock, a product of Buccaneers RFC, was awarded his first Connacht senior cap in 2022.
Since then he has played over 30 times for the province and recently acquitted himself quite well when playing for Ireland A against a strong England side.
The hugely promising, athletic and competitive forward is a native of Lisbrock in South Roscommon and he is a past pupil of St. Aloysius College in Athlone.
