The Rhode man is the scorer of one of the most famous goals in GAA history.
Seamus Darby says it's an honour to be inducted into the Offaly GAA Hall of Fame.
The Rhode man won three All-Ireland Football medals with the Faithful County including back to back successes in 1971 and 1972.
He wrote himself into GAA Folklore when he scored the winning goal in the 1982 All-Ireland Final, depriving Kerry of 5 in a row.
Darby was inducted into the prestigious honour on Monday.
