The now 12 time county champions were 6 points winners over Rahtdowney Errill on Sunday.
Clough Ballacolla are champions of Laois once again after they beat Rathdowney Errill in the senior county hurling final yesterday.
It was Rathdowney Errill that led by 4 points at the break having played with the aid of a stiff breeze.
That lead proved comprehensively shy of what was required as Clough raced into the lead of the game in a third quarter that saw them swarm all over their opponents.
Stephen 'Picky' Maher top scored for the 2024 champions with 1-13, 1-10 of which was scored in the second half, with Maher registering 1-6 in the first ten minutes of that second period.
The final score in O'Moore Park was 2-22 to 0-22.
Clough's manager, Willie Hyland, pointed to a renewed focus in the group after missing out on the county final last year.
"Lads got lax last year"
"There were two holidays been taking, three in some cases."
“Picky had three holidays last year. We got him down to one this year and you saw what he did!"
Hyland says his players had their hands full battling the elements as much as Rathdowney Errill:
