Laois have finally managed to claim the Leinster title they've been chasing.
Laois are Leinster champions after beating Westmeath in the intermediate final in Cusack Park yesterday.
Aimee Collier delivered a standout performance with ten points to help her side to a 1-15 to 1-13 victory.
Elsewhere in the forward line, Grainne Delaney delivered a 1-2 while Megan Dowdall top scored for Westmeath with 0-7.
Dowdall did however miss a penalty in the first period which ended level at 1-5 a-piece.
Laois' Leinster title comes after back to back narrow losses in the provincial decider for the last two years.
