The Offaly golfer finished 5 shots behind the leader, Chris Kirk.
Shane Lowry has finished in a tie for fifth at the Honda Classic in Florida.
The Offaly golfer closed with a final round of 70 to round out on nine-under par last night.
Lowry was playing with a green and white ribbon in honour of Jimmy Lowry, his uncle who passed away last week and was a Ferbane GAA Stalwart.
"He loved working. He loved hard work. He loved hardship. He was big into Gaelic games at home. He didn't necessarily play at the highest level, but he was very involved and loved in the community, and he was just a great man. He was great craic, and I loved him."
Chris Kirk took the honours, beating Eric Cole on the first play-off hole, after they both finished on 14-under-par.
Padraig Harrington ended the week on one-over.
