A ceremony for the Volunteers in Sport Awards will take place later this month.
Volunteers from across the midlands are being recognised by the Federation of Irish Sport.
Across Ireland, volunteers from each county are being honoured for their dedication to promoting sport and physical activity at community level.
Louise Foster from Kestrels Basketball Portarlington, Adrian Curley from Tullamore Harriers and Westmeath Minotaurs' Bill Dougherty are the midlands recipients.
An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 26th February at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin to celebrate the individuals involved.
