NHL: Promotion Within Touching Distance For Laois

Laois have won all four of their games so far.

Laois Manager Tommy Fitzgerald says the county needs to be in Division 1B if they are to compete at the highest level. 

His side are on the verge of securing promotion from Division Two following their 1-23 to 0-17 win away to Westmeath on Sunday. 

The sides were level at the break, before the O'Moore County outscored their opponents 1-14 to 0-8 during the second half, with Tomas Keyes scoring 1-12 for his side. 

Laois turn their attention to Meath this Sunday, where a win could be enough to gain promotion.
