A decision on the planning is due September 17th.
There are plans for a new €1 million all-weather synthetic pitch at Offaly's GAA Grounds.
The development at the Faithful Fields in Kilcormac would involve the construction of a new astro turf pitch equipped with floodlighting, pitch drainage, and all associated site development works.
The Offaly GAA County Board is also looking to change of use of agricultural land to sports and recreational use to develop additional training facilities, which already includes four grass pitches and a gym.
A decision on the application is due to be made by September 17th.
