Edenderry's Cian Crampton will be the sole representative from the Midlands for the Under 18 European Championships in Slovakia later this month.
Crampton will be hoping to add his European Youth Olympics Bronze medal in the discus.
He and 35 other Irish Athletes will compete in Banska Bystrica from the 18th to the 25th of July.
