Offaly Woman Launches Mental Health Support Initiative For GAA Clubs

Off the Pitch was officially launched in 2025.

An Offaly woman is taking steps in helping GAA clubs with mental health. 

Off the Pitch, which was founded last year, provides clubs with access to confidential counselling services for players, coaching staff, and committee members.

The aim of the initiative is to offer supports to clubs across the country, and facilitates communication between the club and therapists while upholding strict anonymity.
