The 2020 champion overcame Michael Smith in last night's final to win by seven sets to five.
Wright won nine of the last ten legs to seal the title at the Alexandra Palace.

Smith set a tournament record for the number of 180's thrown with 83, eclipsing the previous record of 71.
He was philosophical in defeat speaking afterwards.
