A proposed new Laois sports hall would be 'generational,' and exist for more than 50 years.
That's the view of the Portlaoise Panthers, which commissioned a new feasibility study aimed at assessing the demand for such a facility.
It proposed the development of a €16 million sports hall, which would include two full-sized basketball courts and separate team, male and female changing rooms.
