Portlaoise Panthers Suffer Agonising Defeat In Division One

Vernon Deshaun Jackson was the match winner.

Portlaoise Panthers were narrowly defeated in Division One for the second week in a row over the weekend. 

Jack Scully's side fell short to Drogheda Wolves at home, in a game which ended 73-71 to the visitors. 

Panthers were 13 points down heading into the fourth quarter, but managed to draw level late on, before Vernon Deshaun Jackson sealed the victory with a two pointer.

Amiri Darrell Stewart impressed for the Laois side, finishing with 33 points and the games top scorer. 

Panthers return to action at home to Tipp Talons this Friday.
