Panthers were 13 points down heading into the fourth quarter, but managed to draw level late on, before Vernon Deshaun Jackson sealed the victory with a two pointer.
Amiri Darrell Stewart impressed for the Laois side, finishing with 33 points and the games top scorer.
Panthers return to action at home to Tipp Talons this Friday.
