RWC Update: Bealham Confirmed Fit For South Africa Test

Italy face Uruguay in Pool A today.

Finlay Bealham will be available for Ireland's World Cup clash with South Africa on Saturday.  

He has passed the HIA protocols. 

Dan Sheehan could also feature, as he recovers from a foot problem. 

After a win over Namibia in their opening match, Italy can make it two from two in Pool A at the World Cup later. 

Kieran Crowley's side take on Uruguay from 4.45 in Nice. 

Meanwhile, Ian Madigan has announced his retirement from professional rugby. 

The former Ireland out-half was most recently with Ulster, but his game time was limited in recent seasons due to injury. 

Madigan made 31 appearances for his country and played at the 2015 World Cup.

At provincial level, he won two Heineken Champions Cup titles with Leinster.
