The Limerick man lasted 11 months in the job.
Seoirse Bulfin has stepped down as manager of the Westmeath Senior hurling team.
In a statement released on X, Westmeath GAA confirmed the news stating that the board had accepted Bulfin's decision to step down.
Bulfin was appointed manager ahead of the 2025 season and leaves the role after just 11 months in charge.
Westmeath suffered relegation to Division 2A in the league before maintaining their Joe McDonagh status with a win over Kerry last month.
They will begin their process of appointing a new manager in the coming weeks.
