His contract is set to run until July 2022.
Stephen Kenny’s future as Republic of Ireland manager will be decided after the World Cup qualifying campaign.
Ireland have four matches remaining this year, with Kenny’s contract running until July of 2022.
The manager said this week he is building for the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Speaking today, FAI CEO Jonathan Hill said they will wait until November to discuss Kenny’s future.
And Ireland legend John Giles believes that’s the correct move.
