The Town Gain First Win In Behind Closed Door Friendly

It's their 6th friendly as the build up to League Of Ireland resumption continues.

Athlone Town gained their first win since the resumption of football in a behind closed doors friendly last night.

They defeated Sligo Rovers 2-1 at the Showgrounds, the goals coming from Bradley Okaidja and Jack Reynolds. 

The midlanders will resume their first division campaign with a tie against Wexford at Lissywoolen on Friday week.
