The Rugby Sevens competition kicks off in France on July 24th.
The midlands will be well represented in the rugby 7s at the Olympic Games this year.
The Irish men's and women's sevens squads have been named Games in Paris.
Tullamore duo, Jordan Conroy, and Megan Burns have been selected while Portarlington's Alannah Fitzpatrick has also gotten a call up for the women's team which will be skippered by Lucy Rock.
Ballinasloe's Beibhinn Parsons also gets the nod.
There is no place for Vikki Wall.
Both squads have 12 players, with Leinster's Hugo Keenan and Connacht's Andrew Smith in the men's squad which will be captained by Harry McNulty.
