Westmeath Book Place In O'Byrne Cup Final

The Lake County saw off Offaly in Mullingar.

Westmeath booked their place in the final of the O'Byrne Cup on Saturday.

Mark McHugh's side secured a big win over neighbours Offaly as they the Lake County were 5-10 to 2-8 winners in Cusack Park.

Danny McCartan and Brandon Kelly scored two goals each, with Ronan Wallace also impressing with 0-3. 

They now progress to the decider this Friday, with Kildare waiting for them after they defeated Dublin.
