St Loman's and The Downs have been the form clubs in Westmeath this year.
The Downs will have plenty in their armoury to test the Westmeath champions' metal in this weekends senior football final.
That's according to St Loman's forward and talisman, John Heslin.
The contest is a rematch of the 2022 final that saw The Downs claim their first county title since 2005.
Heslin says his team are savouring the challenge ahead:
The Westmeath star looked forward to this year's championship decider with Midlands 103's Gerry Russell and local media by reflecting on his excitement at being back in the final:
Throw in for this year's Westmeath football final is set for 3.30pm on Sunday.
