Westmeath SFC Final: It's The Game Everyone Wanted - Luke Loughlin

The Downs face St Loman's in this year's senior football in Westmeath.

The Downs taking on St Loman's is the championship decider everyone wants to see, according to Westmeath star forward Luke Loughlin.

Loughlin has had a busy club championship season with both Clonkill and The Downs, but says he's looking forward to a quality contest against a side playing in their tenth consecutive Westmeath senior football final.

It's the first time the two clubs are meeting in the competition after The Downs came through Section B of the group phase this year.

Loughlin says he's fine with his team going in as underdogs this weekend:
