The price of a digital stamp is €2.
An Post is launching a stamp with a difference today.
It's new digital stamp can be bought via the An Post app, with customers then receiving a 12-digit code which they write onto the envelope where a traditional stamp would normally go.
Sorters then recognises it as a 'real' stamp, once it's scanned.
The price of a digital stamp is €2, which the company says is because customers will get a delivery notification.
We are so excited to announce the launch of our new Digital Stamp. This world first digital stamp with delivery confirmation by text or email marks a major digital advancement for An Post & postal services in Ireland today.
