The route passes through Westmeath, Meath and Cavan.
An annual 50-mile charity challenge is running through the Midlands this weekend.
The JFK 50 Mile Challenge is modelled after a test the late American President used to improve the fitness of his troops, which had them walk 50 miles in 20 hours.
The route will pass through Fore and past Lough Lene, as well as through Meath and Cavan.
The race starts in Moylagh, where the local committee is raising money for cancer services.
