Pygmalion 26 is coming to the Mullingar Arts Centre tonight.
A Belfast theatre company will stage a major new Irish-language adaptation in Westmeath tonight.
George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion 26, will visit seven venues across Ireland including the Mullingar Arts Centre.
The show will examine how language, accent and cultural identity influence our sense of belonging, while challenging perceptions of who has the right to claim ownership of the Irish language in contemporary society.
The production also reimagines My Fair Lady as a contemporary Irish-language drama set in Belfast.
