97,000 tonnes of waste is expected to be generated from this Christmas alone
People who are doing the Christmas clean-up will recycle anything from egg cartons to electric scooters this week.
That's according to a manager working in one the country's busiest civic amenity centres, which re-opens at 9am today.
From all the festive gifting, 97,000 tonnes of waste is expected to be generated from this Christmas alone, according to REPAK.
David, who's one of the Charge-hands at Fingal County Council's recycling centre in Blanchardstown, says they're not just expecting cardboard and plastic.
