The Offaly man has been reflecting on his trip to Malawi.
A midlands man says a recent trip to the third-poorest country in the world has made him appreciate what he has in life.
Tullamore's Paul Galvin, a board member of the charity 'Mary's Meals', was in Malawi to see the work the charity does to feed children in school.
The charity is currently feeding over 2 million children across 18 countries, over 1 million of those being in Malawi.
Mr. Galvin has been speaking to Will Faulkner on Midlands Today, and says the trip has made him aware of food waste:
