It takes place in early November.
Preparations are underway in a midlands town to host its first-ever Pride event.
Heartlands Pride will take place in Athlone, and gets underway from November 10th to the 12th.
It will feature market stalls, local artists, information workshops, and an evening of entertainment and dance.
Spreading awareness of the issues faced by members of the LGBT+ community will also be high on the agenda.
