It's the first weekend in July and the summer is kicking off in style in the midlands this weekend.
There's music, fundraisers and family events taking place across Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.
Folly Festival returns to Laois for its seventh year on the grounds of Cullohill Castle today and tomorrow.
It's Ireland's first gender-balanced festival and will also feature "Taste of Laois" a showcase of local produce, with artisan stalls.

In Offaly country music star Olivia Douglas, will be taking to the stage at Dooly’s Hotel, Birr today in aid of the Shinrone Church of Ireland Restoration Fund.
She says the night will feature the best of country music:
Meanwhile in Edenderry, Tina Turner, Qween, and Johnny Cash tribute acts will take to the stage at the Edenderry festival on the GAA Grounds today, tomorrow and Sunday.

In Westmeath, McCormacks bar in Castlepollard is hosting a fundraiser for mental health services and charities.
The event will feature kids disco and activities (from 2pm - 5pm), a BBQ (from 2pm - 7pm), raffle and live music from 2pm until late.
Also taking place is Rahugh fest 2025.
Tomorrow will feature a 80's/90's party night and on Sunday there will be Country music.
Artists such as Cliona Hagan , Robert Mizzell and Paddy Treacy will be taking to the stage.
The Westmeath Yoga Picnic is also returning to Lilliput at Lough Ennell tomorrow.
This event is a day of yoga, movement practices, breathwork, meditation, dance and inspiring talks and workshops.
