The event runs from April 7th–11th in Carlow Town.
An International Celtic Festival is calling for dancers, musicians and choirs to represent Ireland in the Midlands.
The International Pan Celtic Festival features performances from the six Celtic nations in their own language.
It's taking place from April 7th to 11th in Carlow Town and the organisers are looking for traditional performing artists.
The Irish song contest is being chosen at an event in the GB Shaw Theatre at Visual, in Carlow, tomorrow at 8pm.
The competitions will include dance, fiddle, harp, duet and choral performance, alongside inter-Celtic cultural events.
Competition Officer Louise Ní Dháibhéid says the festival benefits the town as well as performers:
