Talking To Strangers May Boost Your Mood

Some thought scrolling on their phone would be more beneficial.

If you feel your mood needs a boost, talk to a stranger.

New research has found speaking to someone you don't know improves your mood more than screen time or sitting quietly on your own.

A team from the University of Georgia says even if a chat boosted people's mood more, they still thought they would get more pleasure by scrolling on their phone.
