Research reports that children may not have had the chance to try some outdoor activities.
Traditional outdoor activities are becoming less popular with children.
One in four have never played with conkers, and one in five kids have never flown a kite.
The research by the Global Myopia Awareness Coalition, reports many children haven't had the chance to try outdoor activities including, burying a time capsule, swimming in a lake or playing on a tree swing.
The group says spending more time outdoors has been shown to reduce the risk of children developing short-sightedness.
