The aim is to raise €1 per kilometre.
A 1,000km challenge is taking place in Laois this weekend to raise awareness and funds for a cause supporting people with Lyme Disease.
People are being asked to walk 5km loops around Timahoe village, organised by The Tower Inn pub.
People can purchase wristbands for the event tomorrow, and do as many loops as they feel capable of, with the aim to raise €1 for every kilometre.
