Laois Gardaí came across 11 people who travelled from Cork to Portlaoise for an illegal road race.
The three vehicles were parked up at the Midway in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí directed them to return home as it wasn’t an essential journey.
A file is being sent to the DPP for breach of travel restrictions.
