The Chairperson of the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund says plans are in place to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the former school teachers death.
Ashling Murphy was killed while out for a run along the banks of the canal in Tullamore on 12th January 2022, with Jozef Puska found guilty a year later of her murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Sacred Heart School in Tullamore is working to raise sufficient funds to develop the ‘Pairc Ashling’ pitch, named in honour of the former pupil.
