Lumcloon is the area worst affected, with 1,103 customers currently without power.
Clara and Edenderry are also impacted, with 52 and 33 premises out of power respectively.
The fault in Lumcloon is scheduled to be fixed by 7:30 pm this evening, and people in Edenderry can expect power to return from 5:15 pm.
There is as of yet no return time set for Clara.
