A midlands TD is seeking a meeting with the Education Minister to discuss school places for additional needs children in Westmeath.
Junior Minister and Longford-Westmeath TD Peter Burke has been speaking in the Seanad today, where he shared concerns with Senator Michaél Carrigy that there's a serious lack of school places for children with Autism in Athlone.
The Fine Gael deputy admitted the 30 places in the Athlone/Moate area are not meeting the demand.
