34% Drop In Cases Received By Personal Injuries Assessment Board

That figures is from the first six months of this year, and is compared to the same period last year.

There has been a 34% reduction in the number of cases received by the Personal Injuries Assessment Board. 

The drop was recorded in the first six months of this year, when compared to the same period in 2021. 

During the six months, the overall average compensation award was less than €14,800, which is 38% lower than the rate before the Personal Injuries Guidelines were introduced in April of last year.
