He's said to be doing well since being recovered by Laois SPCA.
A four week old puppy is recovering after being abandoned in Laois.
Sherman was found in a box over the weekend and had a severe case of worms when he arrived with the Laois SPCA.
It's still unknown exactly what breed of dog he is, but co-ordinator Gerldine Lanagan thinks he may be a pomeranian terrier cross.
She says Sherman is taking a great attitude to the recovery process:
No rest for our volunteers...

This tiny little baby came in to our care on Saturday after he was abandoned in a box.
He's about 4 wks old & way too young to be away from his mam. Why anyone would dump a little thing like this is beyond comprehension. We've called him Sherman. pic.twitter.com/xoWpNtyz6R
