A stretch of the M6 remains closed after a serious crash in the midlands.
A six-year-old girl was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital for treatment of serious injuries following the single-vehicle collision, which occurred between Junction Four at Tyrrellspass and Junction Three at Rochfortbridge at 4pm yesterday afternoon.
The driver of the car is also being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A techinical examination is currently being conducted on the site, and the road will remain closed until that's completed, with local diversions in place.
